WHAT WOODS
DO YOU USE?
When looking for the perfect
hardwood to
create my walking sticks with, I came
to appreciate the characteristics of European Beech.
It is a wood that machines extremely well. It is easy
and clean to plane, rout, drill, sand and turn on
the lathe. It finishes to the most exacting standards and
specifications and is virtually the perfect hardwood.
It is what I now use in most of my work.
Our carved canes and sticks under 42"
in length are made from European Beech.
Our hiking staffs between
42" and 58" have natural chestnut
or hazel shanks with carved European Beech toppers.
CAN I SEND
YOU A PICTURE OF MY PET?
Yes, I will work from customer
supplied pet pictures to achieve as
much likeness as I can. There is no additional fee for this.
DO YOU DO
CUSTOM WORK?
I will work with the customer
to create a unique and special
stick or cane. This may involve not only a “new carved
design”, but
may also entail specialty woods, spacers, etc.
I would be happy to discuss
your ideas and
give you a quote for your custom design.
DO YOU
HAVE STICKS OR CANES IN STOCK?
All of my sticks and canes are
made to
order and I do not carry any in stock.
HOW
LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY STICK OR CANE?
The length of time it takes depends on the time of year that
you order.
Just send us an email and we will be happy to let
you know approximately how long an
order will take to receive.
HOW
& WHEN DO I PAY?
We offer three methods of payment:
1) We can email you a PayPal invoice.
2) You can phone us with your Visa or
MasterCard information.
3) You can mail us a check or money
order.
Once you have decided to order we will require a $50 deposit,
with the balance payable one week prior to shipping.

HOW
DO YOU SHIP?
We generally ship FedEx Ground which usually takes between 6-8,
business days to the lower 48 states. We can expedite (Express)
ship and we would be happy to quote for this service.
